Domestic Litigation Attorney

Robert Half is partnering with a law firm near Portsmouth, NH looking to hire in their Family Law practice. This role focuses on family law matters, requiring a candidate with a strong background in civil litigation and the ability to navigate complex legal issues. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in family law and hold an active license to practice law in New Hampshire.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in various family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and alimony cases.

- Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and client representation.

- Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.

- Advocate on behalf of clients during negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings.

- Provide comprehensive legal counsel and guidance to clients regarding their rights and options.

- Maintain compliance with state laws and ethical standards while managing cases.

- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

- Stay updated on changes in family law and legal precedents to enhance case strategies.

Requirements - At least 3 years of experience practicing family law.

- Active Bar license in the state of New Hampshire.

- Strong knowledge of civil litigation principles and procedures.

- Excellent legal research and analytical skills.

- Proficient in drafting and reviewing legal documents.

- Effective communication and negotiation abilities.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism.

- Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation.
