DescriptionAbout the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Supply Chain Manager to support and execute the tactical, day‑to‑day operations of our supply chain. This role is critical to ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, planning, material handling, and logistics. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate closely with manufacturing, engineering, quality, finance, and other teams to ensure materials are properly managed and products are delivered efficiently, on time, and within budget.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupply Chain Operations
- Support and maintain daily tactical/transactional supply chain activities.
- Manage purchase orders and production work orders.
- Assist with supply, demand, and production planning.
- Lead product sourcing and vendor negotiations.
- Partner with engineering to source materials for new product introductions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve quality and delivery issues.
- Identify and qualify new or secondary sources for production materials.
- Ensure timely and accurate implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to Bills of Material.
- Oversee material kitting and transfers to support production.
- Participate in cycle counts and ongoing inventory improvement initiatives.
- Manage receipt and flow of incoming materials, including incoming inspection processes.
- Assist with outbound shipments to customers.
- Help develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and strategic alignment.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality standards, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Provide supervisory support as needed.
- Perform additional duties and assignments as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, a technical discipline, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing supply chain environment; regulated industry experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of core supply chain concepts and systems (e.g., MRP, ERP such as Net Suite, BI tools); proficiency with Excel and MS Office.
- Excellent operational and tactical execution skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team leadership abilities.
- General understanding of lean concepts in manufacturing and supply chain.
