Project Manager

Vital Design is looking for a Project Manager to lead digital marketing, website development, and design projects in Portsmouth, NH.

• Manage client expectations through proactive communication and scope management.
• Oversee production and timelines to ensure on‑time, on‑budget completion of projects and ongoing digital marketing initiatives.
• Work with senior digital marketing, website development, and brand strategists to develop project plans that meet client objectives.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, copywriters, photographers, and other media‑production specialists to execute projects on time and on budget.
• Attend and lead project kickoffs, weekly client status update calls, periodic planning meetings, and other critical milestone meetings.
• Manage client billing and look for opportunities to add value through additional projects and initiatives.
• Become an in‑house expert of the client’s business and industry.
• Stay informed about industry developments and best practices and apply cross‑platform learning to benefit clients.
• Help improve culture, process, and client results by identifying opportunities for enhancement.

• At least 2 years of experience as a project manager or account manager in an agency or internal brand environment.
• Experience managing projects in performance‑based digital marketing, website development and design, multimedia production, or brand strategy.
• Proficiency with project management software to keep projects on track.
• Working knowledge of digital marketing, website development/design, and brand strategy best practices.
• Strong client management and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Process‑focused and able to manage multiple complex projects at once.
• Comfortable leading internal and client meetings and calls.
• Team player prepared to work closely with a creative team.
• Bonus:
  Experience with Google Analytics, Hubspot, Moz, Sprout Social, Buffer, Mail Chimp, Constant Contact, Buzz Sumo, Crazy Egg, or similar digital marketing tools.
