Registered Nurse Manager - Surgical Services

Progeny HR Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Manager to join our team at a leading surgical services facility in Portsmouth, NH. As the Registered Nurse Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the surgical services department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

• Manage and supervise a team of nurses, surgical technicians, and support staff in the surgical services department
• Develop and maintain departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies
• Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective patient care
• Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources
• Participate in budget planning and management for the department
• Ensure proper maintenance and inventory of equipment and supplies
• Stay current on industry developments and best practices, implementing changes as needed to improve departmental processes and procedures
• Act as a liaison between the surgical services department and other departments within the facility

• Current RN license in the state of New Hampshire
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required, Master's degree preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in surgical services, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in surgical services
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency in computer systems and electronic health records
