Key responsibilities of the RN – Interventional Radiology include:
- Perform angiograms, neurology interventions, and other specialized procedures
- Administer moderate sedation under procedural conditions
- Collaborate effectively with a team of nurses and techs in a procedural department
- Manage critical care and emergency situations
- Ensure precise documentation with the EMR – Expanse system
Requirements of the RN – Interventional Radiology include:
- RN License (required at submission)
- BLS & ACLS certifications
- Experience in procedural departments such as ICU or ER
- Familiarity with moderate sedation practices
- Residence within a 30-minute radius of the hospital
