Inpatient Surgical Patient Care Technician PRN

Job Summary

We are looking for a PRN Inpatient Surgical Patient Care Technician (LNA) to join Portsmouth Regional Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare.

Must work a minimum of 24 hours in a 4‑week schedule. Work either a 6a‑6p or 6p‑6a shift.

• Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort during procedures and recovery.
• Provide non‑medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient areas, operating rooms, and common spaces.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and environmental logs to support infection control and team readiness.
• Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team while promoting safety and quality efforts.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (CNA) Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
• New Hampshire LNA license required.
• High School Graduate or GED required.
