Location: Portsmouth, NH
Shift: 3x12 Nights/Days (36 hrs/week)
Charting: Meditech Expanse
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Weekly Hours- 3 shifts/week
- 12-hour shifts
- 36 guaranteed hours/week
- Every other weekend required
Direct Patient Care: ~20–22 hrs/week
- Care for Stepdown/Telemetry patients
- Monitor cardiac status and respond to changes
Cardiac & Post-Procedure Care: ~6–8 hrs/week
- STEMI/NSTEMI patients
- Post-cardiac cath, PCI, radial/groin access recovery
- Pacemaker patients
- CHF and cardiac management
Telemetry Monitoring: ~3–4 hrs/week
- Rhythm interpretation
Cardiac monitoring and intervention
Respiratory & Specialty Care: ~2–3 hrs/week
- BiPAP and High-Flow Oxygen
- Chest tubes
- Trach patients
- Thoracentesis and Pericardiocentesis recovery
Documentation & Care Coordination: ~2–3 hrs/week
- Meditech Expanse charting
- Bedside handoff and interdisciplinary communication
- 2+ Years Hospital Experience
- Active VA License or Compact License at Submission
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Strong Telemetry/Stepdown experience
- 18-bed Interventional Care Unit
- 4:1 patient ratio
- STEMI Receiving Hospital
- Certified Stroke Center
- Level II Trauma Center
- Unit of Distinction Award Winner
- Post-cath and cardiac-focused patient population
- STEMI / NSTEMI
- Post-PCI and Cath Lab Recovery
- Chest Pain Rule-Out
- CHF
- COPD
- Pacemakers
- Chest Tubes
- CIWA Patients
- Tracheostomy Patients
- Pericardiocentesis / Thoracentesis Recovery
RN with strong Telemetry, Cardiac Stepdown, and Post-Procedure Cardiac Care experience. Must be comfortable managing cardiac drips, rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, BiPAP/Hi-Flow patients, and caring for post-cath patients in a fast‑paced cardiac-focused unit.
