As a Security Officer Hospital Behavioral Response in Portsmouth, NH
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional service and communication. You will contribute to a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable approach while responding to security-related needs throughout the facility.

What You'll Do- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following healthcare facility protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
- Be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
