PC Platform Developer

The PC Platform Developer will be responsible for implementing, configuring and maintaining Majesco insurance products using Majesco's proprietary Toolkit framework. This role involves customizing platform components to meet business process design and application requirements.

Senior Developers are expected to write low-level technical specifications, provide technical guidance and mentor junior developers throughout the development lifecycle.

• Work closely with product designers and solution architects to ensure configurations and custom components meet functional and performance requirements.
• Develop and configure workflows including defining and updating Object Models and mappings.
• Write and manage business rules using the Rules Engine.
• Configure build and test Majesco-based applications.
• Perform unit testing to ensure code quality and functional compliance.

• Develop database scripts and perform data validation and verification.
• Ensure data integrity and alignment with enterprise RDBMS standards.

• Strong application programming skills with a domain-oriented mindset.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming in Java.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Database and a strong understanding of RDBMS concepts.
• Experience working with XML/XSD.
• Exposure to web application development.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Willingness to work within proprietary frameworks and tooling environments.
• Knowledge of business rules configuration.
• Familiarity with workflow concepts.

• Ability to read, understand and contribute to technical documentation.

• Execute configuration and development tasks with minimal supervision.
• Participate in unit testing and defect resolution.
• Follow established design and development standards.

• Guide and mentor junior developers.
• Review code to ensure best practices and contribute to solution optimization.
• Actively support architecture decisions and complex troubleshooting.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $25.43/hour - $39.73/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits.
