Position: Type Script and Node.js Tech Lead (contract)

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in Type Script, Node.js for REST API development, and React for frontend development, Java Spring Boot experience is nice to have. This role involves designing and coding high-quality software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and resolving dependencies to ensure seamless project delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Development Efforts:
    Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Mentor and guide a team of developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Full-Stack Development:
    Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using Type Script, Node.js, Angular/React, and AWS serverless technologies. Build and maintain robust RESTful APIs to support frontend and backend integration. Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using Angular or React.
  • AWS Serverless Stack:
    Utilize AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and other serverless services to build and deploy applications.
  • Data:
    Lead design and optimization of scalable, high-performance data solutions leveraging Amazon Aurora Postgres
  • Code Quality:
    Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure high-quality code.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Identify and resolve technical dependencies and blockers to ensure smooth project progress.
Must Haves
  • Technical

    Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Type Script and Node.js for REST API development.
  • Experience with React for frontend development,
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
  • Experience with AWS cloud-native development, including AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Dynamo Db, Aurora Postgres

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities.
Nice to Haves
  • Experience deploying AWS infrastructure with Cloud Development Kit (CDK).

  • Experience orchestrating AWS Lambdas using AWS Step Functions.

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $34.26/hour - $53.53/hour.
