Senior Platform API Developer

• Develop and maintain a variety of platform APIs
• Java with legacy Spring or Spring Boot deployed to AWS
• Work with AWS cloud-native technologies, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, DynamoDB
• Needs to understand microservices including event-based architecture
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of services
• Potential involvement in other underwriting transformations and initiatives as determined by the business

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Java with legacy Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience with Lambda, API Gateway, S3 and DynamoDB.
• Experience with API development and integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Git Hub Actions.
• Knowledge of RDMBS databases such as MySQL or Postgres databases.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture such as Event Bridge, but willing to learn the clients custom eventing framework Venti.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to handle production support with minimal supervision.
• Rotating support within the team over a 5-6 week period.
• Bachelor's Degree
