Senior Principal Systems Engineer, Radar Platforms Technical Lead
Location: Portsmouth, RI;
Onsite position requiring U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance.
- Coordinate assets and laboratory space resources to support multiple simultaneous efforts.
- Manage operation and execution schedule, required to execute tasking.
- Maintain onsite schedule and personnel assignments.
- Communicate issues and priority changes across IPTs and platforms.
- Ensure resources have proper training, equipment, and site access.
- Drive safety, calibration, and similar processes.
- Collaborate with test architects and RPL to understand test needs/identify opportunities to use Portsmouth to integrate earlier and closer to home/TDMC initiatives.
- Develop integration and test plans, and detailed integration and test milestones to meet program objectives.
- Regular interaction with multiple internal program leadership and technical teams.
- Interface with customer representatives during technical interchange meetings or onsite demonstrations.
- Contribute to proposal work estimates, bidding, and gate reviews.
- Plan for and communicate site needs to various stakeholders.
- Interface with site facilities to coordinate any support needed.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience in systems engineering, system integration, verification and/or validation.
- Experience with RADAR programs (e.g., RF design and testing).
- Experience with technical and/or functional leadership.
- EVMS certification (PM level 6 or better) and cost estimating (BoE) experience preferred.
- Experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with SPY-6 or other naval radar programs.
- Experience interfacing with customers.
- Experience as a site lead.
Salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD. Eligible for relocation assistance.
