Our client is seeking a Electrical Test Engineer to join a collaborative engineering team responsible for the design, integration, and deployment of advanced test equipment used in complex manufacturing and sustainment environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly technical projects involving electrical hardware, automated test solutions, and system-level integration within a team-oriented engineering organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical test equipment development, PCB design, schematic capture, and automated test software development, along with the ability to contribute effectively in a process-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electrical test stations, fixtures, and automated test solutions.
- Create electrical schematics and PCB designs utilizing industry-standard design tools.
- Develop and maintain automated test software using technologies such as C, C++, C#, LabVIEW, and/or Test Stand.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams specializing in RF, power, digital, and analog technologies.
- Participate in project planning, technical reviews, and design meetings.
- Track and communicate project status and technical progress to project leadership.
- Support integration, troubleshooting, validation, and deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or another STEM discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Experience with electrical test instruments and test equipment.
- Strong knowledge of one or more of the following disciplines:
- RF Systems
- Power Electronics
- Digital Logic
- Analog Circuit Design
- Experience with automated test software development.
- Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.
- Automated test development
- PCB design
- Schematic capture
- Hardware test and troubleshooting
- Automated test software (C/C++, C#, LabVIEW, and/or Test Stand)
- ORCAD and/or Cadence Allegro
- Experience leading technical projects or engineering work packages.
- Familiarity with project cost and schedule management tools and methodologies (EVMS, Microsoft Project, etc.).
- Experience working within structured product development life cycles and highly regulated engineering environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
Successful candidates will quickly become contributing members of project teams, developing test stations, test fixtures, and automated test software while effectively collaborating with engineers across multiple disciplines. The ability to work in a team environment, communicate technical concepts clearly, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions will be key to long-term success in this role.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $80.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
