What You Will Do- Design, plan, enforce, and coordinate configuration management and tool processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with program goals and industry standards.
- Perform configuration planning and identification, change management and version control to ensure traceability and accountability for digital product artifacts.
- Perform and oversee status accounting and configuration audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Manage digital product development and media libraries, ensuring secure and efficient storage and retrieval of assets.
- Document and maintain guidelines and standards for dependency management, build, and versioning, promoting best practices and consistency across teams.
- Administer DPCM/SWCM tools, manage all access, provide user support and training as needed.
- Administer Dev Sec Ops tools such as Coverity, Artifactory, Jenkins, Nexus, Git Lab CI/CD, Bamboo, ensuring seamless integration into the development lifecycle.
- Facilitate Digital Change Review Boards.
- Maintain familiarity with program schedules, budgets and risks, proactively identifying opportunities to align work with program priorities and promote reuse and efficiency.
- Coordinate secure data transfers and provide courier support among various environments, ensuring proper handling and compliance with RTX policies.
- Lead coordination and execution of various digital product releases, interfacing with functional and program leadership to ensure on‑time delivery and adherence to configuration management processes.
- Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to educate team members on CM tools, processes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, quality and operations, to ensure seamless integration of configuration management processes into the overall program lifecycle.
- Stay current with emerging trends, tools and technologies in configuration management and Dev Sec Ops and recommend improvements to existing processes and tool chains.
- Follow RTX policies and directives in accordance with established program documentation and work instructions under the guidance of the DPCM team lead and/or section leader.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum five years of prior relevant experience.
- Experience with version control, change management and agile planning tools.
- Experience with digital/software configuration management technologies, IT and/or development/scripting.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret U.S. security clearance. U.S. citizenship required.
- Advanced knowledge of digital/software configuration management principles, processes and implementation.
- Experience with DPCM/SWCM tools such as Microsoft Azure Dev Ops Server, Git, Bit Bucket, IBM Rational Clear Case, Synergy, Jenkins, Artifactory.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Perl, shell, batch, Python, Ruby, or YAML).
- Experience with continuous improvement, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), Git Flow, and agile concepts.
- Database and DPCM/SWCM tool administration experience.
- Proven experience with configuration management concepts and implementation.
- Experience with digital/software industry best practices such as CMMI.
- Proven collaboration and effective communication with cross‑functional organizations.
- Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux operating systems.
Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
