Location

US-RI-PORTSMOUTH-PS1 ~ 1847 W Main Rd ~ NIMITZ BLDG

Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including troubleshooting, replacing faulty components, and ensuring efficient and safe operation. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, filter replacement, coil washing, and system performance testing.

• Install HVAC systems according to specifications and local codes
• Test and troubleshoot HVAC systems to diagnose and repair problems
• Replace faulty parts and components as needed
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure efficient and safe operation
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation and repair
• Use tools such as multimeters, refrigerant recovery machines, and vacuum pumps
• Communicate with clients to explain technical issues and recommend solutions
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines
• Keep up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Refrigeration Journeyperson II (RJ2)
• Current EPA Universal Certification per CFR part 82 subpart F
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Clearance: Confidential)
