School-Based Social Worker

• Active Social Worker license in Rhode Island
• Previous experience as a School Social Worker with elementary-age children preferred
• Skilled in service documentation, especially for Medicaid reimbursement
• Familiarity with school-based mental health, crisis intervention, and social-emotional learning initiatives
• Strong communication and organizational abilities
• Willingness to undergo federal and state background checks, including fingerprinting (National BCI)
• Comfortable with Zoom panel interviews
• Motivated, flexible, and eager to connect with students and staff

• Deliver counseling, support, and intervention services to elementary students
• Maintain accurate and compliant student service logs for Medicaid
• Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to develop strategies for student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and support the implementation of individualized plans
• Provide crisis response as needed and promote a positive school climate
• Engage professionally in a team-oriented setting, drawing from the experience of supportive colleagues
