Revive Education are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established Early Years setting in North End, Portsmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive nursery with a strong focus on staff wellbeing, development and long-term progression.

This role would suit a qualified Level 3 Practitioner who is passionate about early years education and is looking for a positive, stable environment where they are genuinely valued.

The setting

The nursery currently supports 115 children across seven rooms and is led by a dedicated management team of three. With a team of 18 staff, the setting prides itself on creating a happy, supportive workplace, recognising that happy staff create happy children. Any issues are addressed promptly, and staff feel listened to, supported and appreciated.

The role

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS, supporting children’s learning and development in a nurturing and engaging environment.

Key responsibilities include:

Supporting children’s learning and development through child-led practice
Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
Completing observations, assessments and learning journeys
Building strong relationships with parents and carers
Maintaining high safeguarding and welfare standards

Hours

35–40 hours per week
Shifts are negotiable

Salary

£13.00 – £13.50 per hour
Dependent on experience

Holiday entitlement

28 days per year
Based on a 40-hour working week

Requirements

Level 3 Early Years qualification or equivalent
Good knowledge of the EYFS
