Position: Electrician (Permanent)
Electrical Installer – Nationwide Lighthouse Projects

£40,000 basic | £55,000 OTE | All expenses paid | Exciting opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced electrician to take on a truly unique role working on lighthouse sites across the UK — from the remote coasts of Scotland down to Cornwall. If you’re looking for something different from the usual electrical environment, this could be the perfect next step.

About the Role

You’ll be part of a specialist team responsible for:

* Installing stainless steel containment

* Carrying out planned and preventive electrical maintenance

* Supporting essential upgrades on some of the UK’s most iconic and remote lighthouse locations

Rotations typically involve 10–16 days living and working on-site, followed by up to 6 days off before the next deployment. All travel, accommodation, and food subsistence are fully covered in advance by the client.

Some lighthouse sites can only be reached by boat or helicopter, adding a real sense of adventure to the work.

Training & Development

You’ll receive specialist training, including:

* Basic sea survival

* Working-at-height and marine‑environment safety

* Access and safety training for remote sites

This is a rare chance to gain skills and experience not found in standard electrical roles.

Salary & Benefits

* £40,000 basic salary

* £55,000 on‑target earnings with working‑away bonuses

* All expenses paid (travel, accommodation, food)

* Work as part of a close-knit team

* Visit remote and stunning locations across the UK

Is This Role for You?

This role isn’t for everyone. It requires:

* Being comfortable spending up to two weeks away from home

* Living and working closely with a small team

* Enjoying hands‑on work in remote, sometimes challenging environments

But if you don’t mind being away, enjoy earning well while saving money, and like the idea of seeing parts of the UK most people never get to visit, this could be an incredible fit
