Skilled Van Technician

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a
Skilled Van Technician
to join our experienced workshop team at our
Portsmouth
site.

As a Van Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to the highest manufacturer and safety standards. You’ll be working with modern vehicles and the latest diagnostic technology in a fast-paced, professional environment.

• Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).
• Saturday work may be required, paid at 1.5 times normal rate

Dependent on experience (will be discussed at interview stage)

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Performing complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnostics and repairs.
• Completing MOT testing (Class 4/5/7 where applicable).
• Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
• Working collaboratively with the workshop team to meet customer expectations.

• Electric Vehicle (EV) trained.
• A valid MOT Tester’s qualification (Class 4/5/7), or a willingness to undergo training.
• Strong capability in complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic diagnosis and repair.
• Previous franchised main dealer experience – ideally Fiat or other Stellantis brands.
• Master Technician level within a franchised dealer network (desirable).
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.
