HVAC Technician

Salary: up to £44000 per annum plus Veolia benefits.

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (Apply online only) with hour break.

• Troubleshoot problems with equipment and carry out repairs.
• Complete site documentation before and after work tasks.
• Supervise specialist subcontractors.
• Carry out risk assessment of equipment maintenance tasks and ensure validity.
• Update maintenance task lists.
• Perform all work in accordance with site EHS and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
• Show flexibility to work around maintenance shutdowns.
• Participate in audits of the air‑conditioning plant and follow up on actions.
• Prepare, compile and manage own quotations and works approvals.
• Own maintenance of plant asset and F‑gas register.
• Stand‑by on call rota.

• Recognised trade qualification – City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air‑conditioning (7189) or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role and good understanding of basic fundamentals of various utility systems.
• Willingness to expand working knowledge into mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with Building Management Systems.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance systems.
• Experience working within a Computerised Maintenance Management Work Order system.
• Troubleshooting/repair of electrical systems, with related mechanical experience a distinct advantage.
• Ability to pass a security clearance check.
