Within our Facilities Management division, the Southwest Core team plays a crucial role in the day-to-day delivery of reactive and preventative works across a diverse range of properties and systems within our client's sites - as an Air Conditioning Engineer. Within the team, you will be expected to perform various reactive and preventative, trade-related duties listed below to enable BJF Group to meet and exceed its contractual obligations with its clients across multiple estates of varying ages and building types (domestic and commercial).
Position:
Carry out maintenance, servicing, fault‑finding and repairs on a range of air‑conditioning systems including VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs, humidifiers and dehumidifiers.
Complete planned and reactive maintenance tasks across domestic and commercial buildings to a high standard.
Conduct inspections and ensure all required documentation, job sheets and certifications are completed accurately and on time.
Liaise effectively with colleagues and contractors to support smooth delivery of works and resolve technical issues.
Maintain commercial awareness by sourcing required materials efficiently and following company procedures.
Requirements:
• A Current F gas category one certificate
• NVQ level 2 in AC
• Previous experience in same or similar role
• Experience carrying out trade related maintenance, installation and fault finds
• Experience of planned preventative maintenance and reactive works / tasks completed within KPIs.
