Basic Salary: £40,000-£48,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Marmon Lift Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Lift Service Engineer to join an established independent lift engineering company, covering a service route throughout Portsmouth and the surrounding Hampshire area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a capable Lift Engineer to join a respected business offering a local service route, technical variety and long-term stability. NVQ Level 3 is preferred but is not essential for candidates with suitable hands-on lift engineering experience.
The Lift Engineer Role
Carry out planned preventative maintenance and servicing across a portfolio of passenger and goods lifts.
Complete routine service visits in line with maintenance schedules and company procedures.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, completing minor repairs where required.
Attend lift breakdowns during working hours and restore equipment to service safely and efficiently.
Identify worn or defective components and report additional repair requirements.
Work across a varied portfolio of lift equipment from different manufacturers.
Ensure all servicing and maintenance complies with current lift regulations and safety standards.
Complete service documentation accurately and provide clear updates to customers and the wider service team.
Ideal Lift Engineer Candidate
A minimum of two years' lift engineering experience is essential.
Previous experience servicing and maintaining passenger or goods lifts.
NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, is preferred but not essential.
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities.
Confident working independently across a range of lift systems and manufacturers.
Able to manage an allocated service route and workload effectively.
Professional communication skills when working on customer sites.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
