We are currently looking for an experienced Floor Layer to join a project in Hampshire, specialising in the installation of carpet and vinyl flooring.
Key Responsibilities- Install carpet and vinyl flooring to a high standard.
- Measure and prepare floors prior to installation.
- Cut, fit and secure flooring materials accurately.
- Prepare surfaces, including basic subfloor preparation where required.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high-quality finish.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Follow all relevant health and safety procedures.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Carry out general flooring and site duties as required.
- Liaise professionally with customers, colleagues and site managers.
- Previous experience as a floor layer is essential.
- Strong experience with carpet and vinyl installation.
- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills.
- CSCS card is not required.
- Must be available to start ASAP.
