The City of Portsmouth is seeking a detail-oriented financial clerk to handle complex bookkeeping for accounts payable and receivable, process payroll, and maintain contracts and grant budgets. Under general supervision, you will prepare monthly and quarterly reports and ensure accurate disbursements in line with city guidelines.
You will support budget development, year-end close-out, and the audit process, while collaborating with the Fiscal Administrator to maintain accurate financial records
