Role
To undertake teaching and research and/or innovation in the overall subject area of Criminology and Counter Terrorism. To contribute to the design and delivery of our education programmes on the criminology and counter terrorism courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Teaching contributions will be made to support the delivery and development of both our campus-based and distance-learning programmes.
The hybrid working arrangements for this role will be discussed with shortlisted candidates during the interview process.
The micro‑teach and interviews are currently scheduled to be held on 15 September 2026.

New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost‑of‑living‑related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
