Position Overview

Pantheon Data is seeking an experienced AEGIS Combat System In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) Support Engineer to provide engineering and logistics support for the AEGIS Combat System (ACS) and AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) on Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)-equipped CG 47 and DDG 51 class ships. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AEGIS Legacy Displays and Shipboard Video Systems (SVS), and will support engineering investigations, technical documentation, and life cycle support for video data display systems.

This role requires frequent travel, including overseas and underway support, and direct onboard technical assistance and assessments.

Responsibilities
  • Provide In‑Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) assessment support for AEGIS Combat System (ACS) and AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) on BMD‑equipped CG 47 and DDG 51 class ships.
  • Conduct engineering investigations and provide engineering input to resolve issues with technical documentation.
  • Deliver engineering and logistics support for AEGIS video data display systems and related shipboard engineering systems.
  • Support AEGIS engineering and logistics life cycle activities, including maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform onboard technical assists and assessments, including overseas and underway support as required.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, assessments, and recommendations to resolve system issues and improve documentation.
  • Collaborate with shipboard personnel, government stakeholders, and other engineering teams to ensure effective resolution of technical issues.
  • Provide guidance and training to shipboard personnel to ensure proficiency in the operation and maintenance of AEGIS Legacy Displays and SVS.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of AEGIS system upgrades, modifications, and best practices.
  • Perform other tasks deemed appropriate for this role as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience
  • Master's degree in any engineering discipline and fifteen (15) years of professional experience, OR Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline and twenty (20) years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Extensive experience with AEGIS Combat System (ACS), AEGIS Weapon System (AWS), and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)‑equipped CG 47 and DDG 51 class ships.
  • Thorough knowledge and hands‑on experience with AEGIS Legacy Displays and Shipboard Video Systems (SVS).
  • Demonstrated experience in engineering investigations, technical documentation, and life cycle support for complex shipboard systems.
  • Strong background in engineering and logistics support for Navy combat systems.
  • Ability to conduct onboard technical assists and assessments, including frequent travel (domestic and international, including underway support).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing and training delivery.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and shipboard personnel.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross‑functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience supporting AEGIS ISEA efforts for the U.S. Navy or similar DoD programs.
