Chief Test Engineer Weapons
You will serve as the Chief Test Engineer Weapons (CTEW) with complete project responsibility for Combat Systems testing for the largest and most complex ships.
You will conduct advance technical planning, preparation, coordination and execution, through in-dept knowledge of testing and evaluation in engineering.
You will review Available Work Package (AWP) and recommend additions or deletions to the Combat Systems Pre-availability Test (PAT) package.
You will provide technical guidance and recommendations related to Combat Systems work and testing at Planning, Work Definition and Arrival Conference meeting.
You will resolve problems beyond technical effort and anticipate and examine other issues considering cost, use acceptance and productive solutions.
You will evaluate and respond to changes in schedules and review the validity of such changes as a result of combat systems work and testing.
You will identify relationships of problems and practices or related engineering fields to solve or refer issues to the appropriate technical authority.
