Duties
You will conduct engineering studies, technical surveys, and prepare reports and recommendations based on technical assessments of identified industrial improvements/transformations initiatives.
You will prepare drawings and operator instructions, show material and parts setup and provide the required information to develop the technical documentation package.
You will research new additive and subtractive technologies and equipment and provide recommendations for leadership for future capability acquisitions.
You will define innovative project goals and scope, develop project plans, determine necessary resources, and manage the project budget to ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
You will communicate and develop partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders to include other shipyard departments, academia, and private industry.
You will be responsible for adhering to the concepts, work practices, policies and philosophy of naval shipyard overhaul, repair and maintenance work.
