ERP Business Analyst Active Secret Security Clearance - Onsite in Portsmouth, VA

U.S. Citizenship and an Active Secret Security Clearance is required. This job is onsite in Portsmouth, VA.

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated ERP Business Analyst to join our team. This role requires strong expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, process improvement, data analysis, and change management. The position focuses on analyzing, enhancing, and maintaining business processes, supporting corporate software suites, and implementing continuous process improvement initiatives across the organization.

• Analyze business needs and processes to support development, implementation, and maintenance of ERP applications
• Gather requirements by collaborating with cross-functional teams and understanding workflows, goals, and objectives
• Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure ERP solutions align with organizational goals
• Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps for reference and decision-making
• Evaluate system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for process and ERP functionality improvements
• Provide expertise in continuous process improvement to enhance efficiency, consistency, and standardization
• Develop and implement change strategies, governance processes, and workflow improvements
• Facilitate technical meetings, conferences, and workshops, including content preparation and data analysis
• Deliver Lean Six Sigma or equivalent process improvement services, including process mapping, data analysis, and cost-benefit assessment
• Support review and consensus-building for process documentation, including corporate software suite chapters
• Advise on business process and IT system integration, supporting digital transformation initiatives
• Collaborate with Data Architects and Software Engineers to implement data-driven solutions
• Develop and maintain business process and requirements maps, including “As-Is” and future state documentation
• Contribute to project planning, resource management, budget tracking, and reporting of deliverables
• Support analytics, dashboards, and visualization development to improve operational insights
• Participate in user experience assessments, technical user groups, and program reviews

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Operations, or a related field
• 4–7 years of experience in process improvement, including data gathering, analysis, change management, process implementation and evaluation activities.

• Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience supporting process or performance improvement initiatives and ERP functional processes
• 15+ years of experience in process improvement, including data gatherings, analysis, change management and evaluation activities
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt or Green Belt Certification, or equivalent process improvement certification.
