Electrical Integrator 3rd Class Portsmouth, VA

Responsibilities

• Comply with all company and customer safety rules and procedures.
• Demonstrate proper use of tools, i.e., crimpers, strippers, torque wrenches, etc.
• Layout and mount electrical components as per instructions.
• Demonstrates ability to make basic electrical terminations.
• Maintain a clean work cell; ensure tools are put away in the proper location at the end of shift.
• Demonstrates ability to work to the requirements of provided statement of work.
• Demonstrates ability to read and comprehend basic electrical schematics.
• Demonstrates ability to properly measure, cut, and install simple components IAW customer drawings.
• Demonstrates ability to comprehend and follow information contained in work packages. such as router steps and work instructions, as well as consistently charge time to the correct Manufacturing Order.

• Possess basic knowledge hand tools and their use.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with other team members and company employees.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 Year Electronics Technician/Electrician experience in any field.

• While performing these job duties, the employee is routinely required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; use fingers and hands to type or write; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  
  Must be able to lift over 50 pounds.
