SummaryResponsible for the coordination of materials and services for various projects/programs associated with IMIA Structural Division.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Provide quote estimates for materials and services
- Track and report delivery dates and material issues to projects
- Develop and update Job Material Lists
- Attend weekly project meetings
- Supply technical support to purchasing activities
- Interface with Project managers and superintendent on various projects
- Provide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given task
- Kit material for projects to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Stock & Issue materials from Shop Stores-Consumables
- Coordinate the receipt and inspection of incoming materials, ensuring that all deliveries match purchase orders and quality specifications.
- Ensure proper receipt inspection and storage of GFM.
- Provide forklift support for deliveries and or shop needs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience with NAVSEA drawings and Tech Manuals
- Understanding and experience with manufacturing fundamentals
- Knowledge of Mil-Spec and COTS items
- Willingness to learn and work to the best of their abilities and have a dependable work ethic
- Ability to read and interpret documents furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form including but not limited to safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, quality manuals and procedure manuals
- High school graduate, or GED
Physical Requirements
- Work primarily performed in an office or shop environment
- Occasional travel required
- Computer, telephone, copy machine, adding machine, scanner
