Required Skills- Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license
- Certification as a Lactation Consultant from the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience within the last two years
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop educational materials and collaborate with healthcare teams
- Experience in maternal-child health or breastfeeding support programs
- Prior experience working in OB, Pediatrics, or Family Practice settings
- Skills in developing marketing or educational materials related to breastfeeding
Education and Experience
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
- Prior experience as a Lactation Consultant or in a similar role
- Willingness to promote breastfeeding and participate in related programs
- Ability to work day shifts, typically between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
- Willingness to travel for training or outreach activities if necessary
- Valid and active RN license and relevant certifications must be maintained throughout employment
This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $45.00, with a blended rate of $46.80 including paid federal holidays, along with comprehensive benefits such as weekly pay via direct deposit, medical, dental, vision, supplemental benefits, 401(k) with match, and a robust referral bonus program.
