Registered Medication Associate; RMA

Position: Registered Medication Associate (RMA)
Commonwealth Senior Living - 4916 West Norfolk Road - Responsibilities:
Administers and accurately records the administration of medications for residents as prescribed by the physician;
Presents medication to residents and observes ingestion or completion of other administration techniques;
Observes, records, and reports complications, adverse actions or side effects of medications and communicates with the Resident Care Director as indicated;
Stores medications in a safe and accurate manner; documents medication inventory, restocks, and re-orders from pharmacy as needed;
Maintains infection control practices and Universal Precautions; supports resident care and safety; may act as shift supervisor when appropriate
