Duties
Help
Perform clinical laboratory tests on specimens as ordered in accordance with established protocols.
Determine suitability of specimens for analysis.
Conduct necessary quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA) procedures.
Identify unusual and/or discrepant values and initiates appropriate follow-up procedures to verify results.
Verify correct instrument operation using established procedures and quality control checks.
Monitor inventory of supplies, reagents and controls allowing sufficient lead-time to obtain additional supplies prior to running out.
