Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol

Allied Universal - Up to $17.25/hour -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government maritime and/or transportation facility.;
Control access at gates and checkpoints by verifying identification, logging visitors, monitoring deliveries, and directing traffic flow according to post orders.;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, disputes, medical situations, and/or fire-related events, and notify on-site contacts and public agencies as directed.;
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited activities; working environments and conditions may vary by location.;
Complete shift logs and incident reports, monitor cameras and alarm panels when assigned, and communicate observations via radio and/or phone while supporting security-related investigations as requested.
