Service Credit Union is seeking a full‑time, highly motivated and detail‑oriented Physical Security Specialist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a similar background who possesses strong organizational skills, takes initiative and ownership of tasks and responsibilities, and is ready to contribute on day one.
The ideal candidate applies a structured, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving, is solution‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Pay range: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour, flexible depending on experience and qualifications. Junior level candidates typically start at the lower end of the range, with opportunities for growth as skills develop.
Location:
This position is an onsite position. Candidate must be located within 60 miles of the NH Seacoast area.

- Monitor the health and performance of video surveillance and alarm systems
- Review and investigate after‑hours alarms or video system issues
- Process and review security incident reports, conducting follow‑up actions or investigations as required
- Manage, support, and troubleshoot access control systems
- Troubleshoot security system issues as they arise
- Coordinate with external vendors for security software support or equipment troubleshooting
- Perform branch visits and security reviews annually
- Conduct physical security training with employees
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow established procedures for employee change requests, issue tracking, compliance reviews, and related tasks
- Act as backup for Security Desk and Courier as required
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prior experience in security systems, facilities support, or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to competing priorities
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Self‑motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent work ethic with a proactive, results‑driven approach
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required
- Primarily a desk‑based position
- Regular travel required for facility visits
- Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast‑paced environment while remaining dependable and responsive to employee needs
