Security Officer

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for patrol and asset protection. In this role, you will conduct vehicle and foot patrols, monitor facilities, enforce access control, and respond to alarms or incidents. You will protect people, property, and critical assets by observing, reporting, and taking appropriate action within company and client guidelines. The position requires strict adherence to safety protocols, accurate incident documentation, professional customer service, and collaboration with site management and local authorities when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and random vehicle and foot patrols of client properties
• Monitor access points, gates, and entrances; verify identification and credentials
• Protect client assets by observing, reporting, and deterring suspicious activity
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, following post orders and safety protocols
• Complete clear, accurate, and timely incident and daily activity reports
• Maintain safe handling and retention of assigned firearm at all times
• Operate patrol vehicle safely and comply with traffic and company regulations
• Provide courteous customer service to clients, visitors, and employees
• Coordinate with site management and public safety agencies as directed
• Participate in ongoing training and comply with company and client policies
