Instrument Mechanic Supervisor with Security Clearance

Position: INSTRUMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR with Security Clearance
Duties
* You will supervise and oversee the work and performance of lower-level employees.
* You will plan the sequence of operations.
* You will provide training to lower-level employees.
* You will maintain records and/or furnish information regarding such matters as daily distribution to the force.
* You will perform a wide range of personnel management matters.
* You will supervise instrument mechanics assigned to perform work in various calibration lab work sites as well as work sites aboard vessels and other specified work areas. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

* Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. * Ability to lead a team in applying advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex operational deficiencies in instrumentation and control systems.
* Ability to plan, assign, and review the work of subordinate mechanics, ensuring that technical documentation, schematics, and engineering drawings are correctly interpreted and applied for accurate testing and calibration.
* Ability to oversee and validate complex mathematical computations and technical calculations performed by the team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of test data and results.
* Ability to manage the preparation and approval of comprehensive technical documentation, including ensuring all team reports and certificates of calibration comply with organizational and industry standards.
* Ability to communicate technical, administrative, and personnel-related information effectively to subordinates, management, engineers, and customers to coordinate work, resolve complex issues, and represent the team.
