Job Overview

Service Porter – Knudtsen Chevrolet, Post Falls, Idaho. Minimum age 18. Competitive pay $18.00–$20.00 per hour (department of quality). Consistent Monday‑Friday schedule with evenings and weekends off. Move, park, and support vehicles, maintain clean work spaces, and assist technicians and customers. Work actively in a dynamic environment.

• Maintain service drive accessibility and level of service by moving vehicles and greeting customers.
• Assist lube technicians with duties such as running vehicles through the carwash.
• Help maintain mechanical shop cleanliness and appearance.
• Shuttle vehicles and customers to other locations as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.

• Team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Previous experience in a dealership environment preferred.
• Able to stand or walk on hard surfaces for the majority of shift in all weather conditions; able to stoop, bend, twist daily.
• Can carry up to 20 pounds and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Able to safely operate a wide variety of cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans, both automatic and manual.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a motor vehicle report, criminal background check, and drug test. Subject to random drug and alcohol testing.

The job requires regular standing, walking, use of hands and fingers to operate tools, speaking and listening to customers, and the ability to reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Frequently lift up to 70 pounds; occasionally more than 75 pounds. Working conditions include exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, wet or humid conditions, and loud noise.
