Channel Sales Manager - Agency Motor

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activity of producers to ensure a strong pipeline.
• Coach & guide agents to cross‑sell and grow their business.
• Help individual agents grow by at least 20% year on year.
• Ensure IRDA compliance regarding licensing and commission payments to agents.
• Maintain quality of applications.
• Support and guide producers in all policy‑related activities.
• Recruit and appoint agents for general insurance business.
• Train agents on products, processes and USPs of the company.

• Identify prospects for motor insurance business.
• Outreach to competing motor agents to associate with us.
• Conduct name‑gathering activities, career orientation program with TATAAIG (RnR, Club Membership, Quarterly contests, educational programs, etc.).
• Engage producers daily.
• Lead weekly and monthly development sessions for producers.
• Organize contests and club conventions for producers on a weekly/monthly basis.
• Provide sales support such as endorsements, form filing, portal training, and other operational activities.
• Set monthly, quarterly, and yearly goals with producers.

• CSM – Business sourcing.
• ZSM – Approvals.
• HR Team – Recruitment & incentives.
• IT Team – IT & server‑related issues.

• Agents – New tie‑ups & regular visits.

• 1–2 years experience in any general insurance company.
• Graduate from any discipline with prior experience.
