Role Description

As our new Sales and Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our showroom. Your responsibilities will include assisting walk-in customers, creating accurate estimates, scheduling templates and installations, handling phone and email inquiries, and maintaining a clean and welcoming showroom. We also value your input and experience in finding ways to enhance customer experience and improve our company.

Key Responsibilities Customer Assistance
  • Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing detailed information about our products and services.
  • Listen to customer needs and preferences to recommend suitable products and solutions.
  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for products and services based on customer specifications and requirements.
  • Ensure estimates are clear, comprehensive, and provided in a timely manner.
  • Follow up to ensure estimates were received and answer any questions or concerns.
  • Update estimates post template to reflect final measurements and details and communicate changes with customer.
Scheduling
  • Coordinate and schedule template and installation appointments with customers and internal teams.
  • Confirm and follow up on scheduled appointments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely completion.
Communication
  • Answer phone calls and respond to emails promptly and professionally, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with customers throughout the sales and service process.
  • Become familiar with our contract and educate the customer in order to set appropriate expectations.
Industry Knowledge
  • Gain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our industry, products, and processes.
  • Stay informed about new products, trends, and technologies to provide knowledgeable and up-to-date information to customers.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of sinks and slabs.
Showroom Maintenance
  • Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Arrange product displays to enhance customer experience and promote sales.
Qualifications
  • Experience in the stone counter top industry is preferred, experience in the construction or interior design industry is a plus
  • Proven skills in Customer Service, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Support
  • Experience in building strong Customer Relationships and enhancing Customer Experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with an attention to detail
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including order processing systems
  • High school diploma or higher; additional certifications in customer service or sales are advantageous
