7:20a-5:15p on non surgical days and 6:15am-4:10p on surgical days
Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour (Depending on Experience) plus bonus potential
Specialized Experience Requirement:
To ensure immediate success in this role, this position requires prior dental or medical office experience with specific mastery over General Anesthesia (GA) scheduling and hospital/OR coordination workflows.

Key Areas of Impact & Responsibility- General Anesthesia (GA) Case Management:
Serve as the primary logistical anchor for our advanced sedation cases. You will handle the complex coordination, documentation, clearance tracking, and scheduling of patients into in-office GA time slots. - Welcome & First Impressions:
Greet and welcome new patients and their families, cultivating an exceptionally warm, reassuring, and positive first impression that removes any pediatric dental anxiety right from the start. - Treatment Presentation:
Masterfully coordinate and present dental treatment plans compiled by our doctors. You will walk parents through clinical needs, visual charts, and advanced sedation options clearly and compassionately. - Financial & Insurance Guidance:
Review financial arrangements and breakdown insurance benefits transparently. You will demystify deductibles, maximize co-pays, secure pre-authorizations for GA cases, and establish flexible financial options. - Patient Advocate & Guide:
Answer detailed questions, troubleshoot parent concerns, and help families feel completely safe, informed, and confident about moving forward with their child's specialized treatment plan. - Scheduling & Records Management:
Schedule follow-up clinical appointments and maintain pristine, accurate patient medical/dental records inside our practice management database to keep our fast-paced daily flow running flawlessly.
- Healthcare
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of front office, treatment presentation, or surgical scheduling experience within a dental or medical practice setting (required). - GA Coordination Fluency:
Direct, proven experience managing General Anesthesia (GA) scheduling, hospital OR block time, or surgical clearance workflows (required). - Financial Fluency:
Strong background navigating insurance break-downs, processing payments, and configuring financial ledgers. - High-Volume Capability:
High-energy operational capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical workspace. - Schedule Reliability:
Ability to work our full-time hours starting at 6:50 AM consistently at our Post Falls clinic. - Safety & Compliance:
This position is safety-sensitive; a routine pre-employment drug screen is required. We strictly adhere to all CDC, OSHA, and ADA safety guidelines.
- Competitive Wages: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour base rate (negotiable based on your specific industry experience) plus bonus potential.
