- Build relationships: create connections between all stakeholders to foster positive social interaction and establish an environment of trust to enhance the educational process and support the growth of all students.
- Identify community members and partners that can provide opportunities to engage, inspire, and ignite passion in students.
- Share and innovate with colleagues to collaborate on best options and pathways to provide opportunity for all students outside of the traditional classroom.

- Implement Next Step Ready (NSR) curriculum, collaboratively developed with students, parents, and industry partners.
- Implement and design curriculum centered around Career Technical Education.
- Crosswalk standards to align with trades to provide context and purpose for all standards students are expected to master.
- Teach skills that align with the trade to better equip them for success in the workforce.
- Scaffold instruction using the learning hook, identify where students are in their educational journey through assessment, and engage them at the level that is appropriate for their growth.
- Implement Tough Love: set high expectations and follow through on actions when expectations are not met.
- Work with students using a variety of proven strategies to move them on their personal timeline toward owning their own education.
- Be open to continuously learn.
- Idaho State certification in teaching in the appropriate subject areas (Bachelor's Degree required, preferable in related field; Elevate can help with teacher certification process).
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and occasionally be required to lift objects.
- Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
- Perform all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the total school program.
- Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.
- Meet professional teacher education requirements of school, district, and state.
