• Build relationships: create connections between all stakeholders to foster positive social interaction and establish an environment of trust to enhance the educational process and support the growth of all students.

• Implement and design curriculum centered around Career Technical Education.

• Teach skills that align with the trade to better equip them for success in the workforce.
• Scaffold instruction using the learning hook, identify where students are in their educational journey through assessment, and engage them at the level that is appropriate for their growth.
• Implement Tough Love: set high expectations and follow through on actions when expectations are not met.
• Work with students using a variety of proven strategies to move them on their personal timeline toward owning their own education.
• Be open to continuously learn.

• Idaho State certification in teaching in the appropriate subject areas (Bachelor's Degree required, preferable in related field; Elevate can help with teacher certification process).
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time and occasionally be required to lift objects.
• Must have the ability and proven ability to report to work on a regular and punctual basis.
• Perform all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the total school program.
• Knowledge and implementation of relevant technology.
• Meet professional teacher education requirements of school, district, and state.
