About Timberline Schools
Timberline School is a small K-12 school serving the communities of Fraser, Weippe, Pierce, Cardiff, and Headquarters; collectively known as “the hilltop.” The community is very rural and offers outdoor recreation including hunting, fishing, hiking, ATV riding, camping, skiing, and more. We are a Leader in “Me” school, focused on developing students’ leadership potential, and have low student-to-teacher ratios and opportunities for involvement in extracurricular activities.
Qualifications& Responsibilities
- Hold or be able to obtain a valid Idaho Exceptional Child Education teaching certificate.
- Manage a caseload of students with diverse learning needs (IEPs).
- Design and implement individualized instruction in a rural, K-12 setting.
- Lead IEP meetings and ensure IDEA compliance.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
Contingent based on education and experience. Certified Salary Schedule range: $50,252 - $78,437. Salary schedule: https://or Pay is for full-time employees; final salary will be based on prorated full-time status.
BenefitsEmployee medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage paid 100% by the district. $20,000 employee life insurance and $2,000 dependent life insurance paid by the district. Eligible for PERSI retirement.
