Position: Customer Service Engineer (Union) - MR/CT - Central/Western, CT or Brewster, NY

Overview

Join Siemens Healthineers as a Customer Service Engineer to provide technical support and service for Imaging Equipment in the Central/Western, CT or Brewster, NY area. This role involves installing, servicing, maintaining, and modifying medical imaging equipment at customer sites.

Responsibilities
  • Install, service, maintain, and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform timely and effective repairs and provide operator training to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Manage financial performance within the territory, meeting or exceeding revenue and expense targets.
  • Control inventory and manage company assets including a company vehicle, cell phone, computer, and tools.
  • Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers.
  • Execute necessary administrative duties accurately.
  • Participate in an on‑call rotation after training and certification.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, technical degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1–2+ years of field service experience on medical imaging equipment.
  • Proficiency in using service tools and test equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned geography; willingness to work nights and weekends when required.
  • Valid driver’s license, independent driving capability day and night, and a good driving record.
  • Physical capability to lift 50 lbs, walk, climb ladders or step stools, bend, twist, sit, squat, and stand for extended periods; good vision and fine grasping manipulation.
Required Skills
  • Experience performing service, preventive maintenance, and modifications on medical imaging equipment at customer sites.
  • Ability to establish and maintain business relationships with customers and peers.
  • Proficiency with tools and service test equipment.
  • Strong customer service and communication abilities.
