An exciting opportunity has opened for a Senior Wireless Network Engineer to support FTTH and fixed wireless operations within a growing ISP environment. The role focuses on integrating and optimizing network configurations, enhancing network capabilities, and supporting day-to-day operations as part of a small, versatile team.
Responsibilities- Integrate communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, and transmission protocols into complete network configurations.
- Evaluate new products and perform network problem resolution.
- Assist in developing and documenting technical standards and corporate policies.
- Design and implement network enhancements and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage projects involving network planning, configuration, and optimization.
- Monitor network performance to ensure maximum system availability and reliability.
- Proactively support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
- Configure and manage Mikro Tik Router
OS v6 and v7 devices. - Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation for operational teams.
- Support and maintain service provider wireless P2P and M2P links from vendors such as Cambium, Siklu, Integra/SAF, and Tarana.
- Perform field replacements and upgrades of Mikro Tik devices as needed.
- Administer systems and servers related to network availability for authorized users.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software to resolve operational issues and restore services.
- Minimum of 8 years of network engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Mikro Tik devices.
- Networking-related credentials (e.g., CCNA, JNCIA, MTCNA, Network+) are a plus.
- Experience with VLANs, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, BGP, and OSPF.
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of wireless LAN security, PPPoE, MIMO, QoS prioritization, and network troubleshooting.
- Proficient in network design software, such as Visio or Lucidchart.
- Experience in FTTH network design and implementation is a plus.
- Effective communication skills and a strong ability to learn independently.
