About the Role
Ensures the branch meets or exceeds operations standards at all times. Responsible for satisfactory audits. Monitor sales and service goals and coach other team members to deepen customer relationships using Client and Business Financial Review. Develops and maintains strong, long‑term relationships with consumers and businesses in the local community and consistently provides proactive solutions and problem resolutions in alignment with the bank’s Breakthrough Client Service Standards.
Acts as back up to personal banking team to open new accounts, receive loan requests and gather credit-related information. Manage, lead, train, and coach Tellers. May also oversee personal bankers in collaboration with Branch Manager. Process and oversee technical tasks such as opening and closing of the branch, overdraft monitoring, wire transfers and collections, stop payments, and monitoring branch controls.

High School Diploma or GED, required. Associate’s or Bachelor’s, Vocational, or Technical Degree in banking, business, or related field or equivalent work experience preferred. 2 years of retail banking experience required. 1 year of management or supervisory experience preferred. 1 year of consumer and small business lending origination experience preferred. Customer service background in retail or banking. Demonstrated ability to grow sales by developing long‑lasting, knowledge‑based relationships with clients and offering customized solutions.
Demonstrated leadership skills such as handling difficult customer and associate conversations in a professional, transparent, and courteous manner. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task effectively. Proficient use of spreadsheets and other banking computer systems and related software, and ability to operate a variety of office equipment and to perform repetitive movements for tasks such as counting cash, typing, and handling documents.
This position requires acting as a Bank MLO, authorized to take mortgage loan applications, offer and arrange a mortgage, assist a consumer in obtaining a mortgage, negotiate a mortgage, or refer a consumer to a loan originator, within the constraints of the SAFE Act. This position is not authorized to act as a Bank Closed‑End MLO; it is limited to open‑end transactions such as home equity lines of credit.

The pay range for this role is $23.00 to $28.00 per hour. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non‑discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
