Belltower was formed in 2019 as Angel List’s native fund administrator and completed its journey to become an independent company at the end of 2023. Belltower provides fund administration services to the venture space. Our coverage spans syndicates, venture funds, and first‑of‑their‑kind rolling funds. Our full-service fund management offering streamlines the complexity of running a fund by integrating financial reporting, tax, compliance, portfolio management, and other services that managers typically have to cobble together from multiple vendors.

Our services, combined with Angel List’s software, enable us to launch and scale a fund efficiently, allowing fund managers to focus on what they do best: investing.

Since 2019, Belltower has supported 29k+ funds representing over $23B in assets under administration, leveraging Angel List’s fund admin software to power the service layer for funds launched on the Angel List platform.

As a GP Services Associate on the Fund Formations team, you’ll help launch and manage venture funds by owning and executing key fund formation and compliance workflows. This is a hybrid legal, compliance, and operational role, working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver a smooth experience for GPs. This role reports to the GP Services Fund Formation Manager.

• Execute fund management and compliance workflows, including entity formation, regulatory filings, and related operational processes required to launch and close venture funds.
• Support the launch of new fund structures in coordination with Finance, Tax, and other internal stakeholders.
• Own data accuracy and process tracking across core operational systems.
• Draft, review, and maintain operational documentation to support knowledge management and team scalability.
• Identify and propose process improvements to streamline fund formation and closing cycles.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders on fund formation timelines and requirements.

• 2+ years of relevant experience in legal, consulting, or fund/startup operations (venture or fund operations experience a plus).
• Familiarity with entity formation and venture capital fund structures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to explain compliance/legal concepts to non‑experts.
• Comfort managing workflows systematically and at scale.
• A proactive, detail‑oriented mindset with a willingness to dive into complex processes.
• A track record of operating effectively in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments.
