Position: SCHEDULING COORDINATOR - NORTHWEST HAND TO SHOULDER CENTER

Scheduler – Northwest Hand to Shoulder Team

Northwest Specialty Hospital seeks a detail‑oriented, customer‑service‑focused Scheduler to join our Northwest Hand to Shoulder Team. This position will be located at our new Liberty Lake, WA clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule appointments for patients and manage assigned providers' schedules.
  • Verify demographic and insurance information and ensure proper records and documentation are in place.
  • Maintain accurate records associated with scheduling and patient documentation processing.
  • Provide excellent customer service to callers on a multi‑line phone system and return voicemails in a timely manner.
  • Project a professional demeanor and appearance while maintaining confidentiality of patients, coworkers, and the hospital.
  • Work under stress and in situations that demand patience and tact while providing impeccable service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications And

Preferred Experience
  • High school diploma required.
  • One year of prior clerical experience in a medical setting strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to build relationships with physicians or their support staff.
  • Knowledge of insurer and payer processes.
  • CPR/BLS certification or obtain within first ninety days of hire.
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of CPT, ICD‑10 codes, and medical terminology preferred.
  • Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the United States.
  • Three years of medical office experience preferred.

Pay:
From $20.00 per hour.
