Northwest Specialty Hospital – Urgent Care, Post Falls
Responsibilities- Room patients and obtain/document vital signs
- Administer injections and perform venipuncture and specimen processing
- Conduct urinalysis and EKG testing
- Assist with in-office procedures
- Prepare and clean procedure rooms; maintain infection control standards
- Safely dispose of biohazard and sharps waste; ensure clinical supplies are stocked and organized
- Expand clinical skillset through employer-provided training in basic radiology and IV starts
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with active certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or NCCT or NHA
- Aware of cleaning standards and performs accordingly
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others
- Demonstrated verbal and written English communication skills for safe and effective patient care and documentation
- Ability to complete radiology and IV training courses within six months of hire
- Previous experience is preferred
